Description:

Participants are invited to join this information session to learn about Achēv's Skills for Success in Food Services and Accommodation program. This program helps Canadians strengthen foundational and transferable skills, with a focus on social and emotional skills that support preparing for, securing and maintaining employment.

The program offers:

- Online training for in-demand hospitality roles, including:
- Food & Beverage Server
- Housekeeping Room Attendant
- Hotel Front Desk Clerk;
- Support with potential job placements in these occupations;
- Wage subsidies of up to $20/hour for 12 weeks for part-time or full-time positions; and,
- Free online access to all training materials in English and/or in an alternate accessible format.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen;
- Unemployed or underemployed; and,
- Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 or higher.
