YWCA Toronto is offering FREE training programs for women and gender diverse people in the Greater Toronto Area who are interested in taking the next step towards a rewarding career in the trades. Join this information session to learn more about the programs and the application process.

Participants must:
- Identify as a woman or gender diverse person;
- Be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or a Protected Person/Convention Refugee;
- Be at least 16 years of age;
- Reside in Ontario; and,
- Have completed grade 10 or higher.

Now accepting applications for:
- Skilled Trades Awareness and Readiness (STAR 4-Women) – Start Date: September 14, 2026
- Tile Setter Pre-Apprenticeship – Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Tile Setter Apprenticeship – Start Date: October 19, 2026
