We invite participants to join us for this three-day Retail Training Program. Please see program details below:

Customer Service Training
Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 10a.m. – 12p.m.
On day one of this workshop series, participants will learn basic customer service skills and how to best serve different types of customers. They will also learn how to problem solve and handle difficult customers and situations.

Basic Cashier Training
Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 10a.m. – 12p.m.
On day two of this workshop series, participants will learn how to important cashier terminology, and how to process sales, discounts and return items on cash registers.

Retail Job Search Training
Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 10a.m. – 12p.m.
On day three of this workshop series, participants will learn about the different career opportunities available in the retail sector. They will learn about different types of resumes and tips on how to apply for retail jobs.

Participants must attend all three days in order to receive a Certificate of Participation.

Please note that this event is in partnership with Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS). By registering for the event, participants agree for their information to be shared between YWCA JUMP Scarborough and Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS).
