We invite participants to join us for this three-day Retail Training Program. Please see program details below:

Virtual Customer Service Training
Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 4 - 6p.m.
On day one of this workshop series, participants will learn basic customer service skills and how to best serve different types of customers. They will also learn how to problem solve and handle difficult customers and situations.

Virtual Basic Cashier Training
Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 4 - 6p.m.
On day two of this workshop series, participants will learn important cashier terminology and how to process sales, discounts and return items on cash registers.

In-Person Cash Register Practice (optional with limited spaces*)
Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 4 - 6p.m.
On day three of this workshop series, participants will have the opportunity to practice cashier skills on a real cash register! This workshop will be delivered in-person at the Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) office at 3495 Lawrence Ave. E. (MAP).

*This is an optional workshop with limited space. Spaces will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Participants must attend the first two workshops in order to receive a Certificate of Participation.


Please note that this event is in partnership with Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS). By registering for the event, participants agree for their information to be shared between YWCA JUMP Scarborough and Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS).
