Social inclusion involves understanding and acknowledging gender diversity. The YWCA JUMP Program invites participants to learn about gender inclusion in the workplace and gain LGBTQ2S+ awareness. By the end of this series, participants will gain relative knowledge that will empower them to be a positive contributor to diversity and inclusion. See program details below:
August 7 - Part One: Gender Awareness in the Workplace
- Explore gender identities, related terms, and definitions—including pronouns and terminology linked to gender identity.
- Learn how to provide gender-inclusive customer service and apply gender awareness in workplace professionalism.
August 14 - Part Two: Creating LGBTQ2S+ Cultural Awareness
- Gain insights into the history of Pride and the lived experiences of the LGBTQ2S+ community.
- Discover best practices for building awareness, inclusion and acceptance of LGBTQ2S+ individuals in both personal and professional spaces.
- This webinar will be delivered by guest speaker Stacey Love-Jolicouer, from Sexuality and Gender Awareness Acceptance (SAGA) who will share lived-experience and educate on diversity, acceptance and inclusion.
