Youth Employment Services


 

YWCA Toronto's Employment Centres offer free services to women and men, aged 15 to 29 years who are serious about getting a job or returning to school to advance their education and career prospects. Through YWCA Toronto’s Employment Centres, youth can access financial supports to get started and employers can access financial incentives to hire them. If you are ready to take control of your future and support yourself, please drop by, call or book an appointment to see an employment specialist. We can help you.

  • Financial assistance, which can be put towards books, work clothing, registration costs and materials

  • Job placements (paid, unpaid, co-op)

  • Job matching

  • Job search tips, tools and the latest social media techniques

  • Assistance in preparing dynamic résumés and cover letters

  • Recruitment events

  • Employment and training workshops

  • Full computer lab

  • Women and men between the ages of 15 and 29 years

  • Residents of Ontario

  • Unemployed or working less than 20 hours per week

  • Not attending school or training full time
