women of distinction logo YWCA Toronto is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to support the 28th Annual Women of Distinction Awards.  This inspiring event will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, when more than 1500 business and community leaders will join us as we recognize eight women who have worked to improve the lives of women and girls in Toronto.

This event is only possible with the support of committed volunteers who generously donate their skills, talent and time and heart. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available the day of the event starting at 1:00 p.m. The shifts vary depending on the position. Feel free to sign up for more than one position with no overlapping shifts.

To volunteer for the 2008 Awards, print and complete the Women of Distinction Volunteer Application form and fax it back to Dela Aziavor, Volunteer Coordinator at 416.961.0567 by April 21, 2008.
