YWCA Elm Centre is an innovative residential community located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Currently under construction and expected to open in the summer of 2011, the Elm Centre will have 300 affordable apartments for low-income women and their families, women living with mental health and addiction issues and families of Aboriginal ancestry. Located on a quiet residential street in Rosedale, YWCA 1st Stop Woodlawn is a unique residential community. It includes 72 private rental rooms for long-term accommodation, a shelter for women and transitional housing for women who require additional support. Located on a residential street with lots of greenery, west of midtown Toronto, YWCA Humewood Drive Housing is a double duplex apartment building. We offer rent-geared-to-income, shared apartments for 16 single women. Located in South Riverdale, YWCA Pape Avenue Apartments is a 77-unit rent-geared-to-income apartment building for single women and women with children. We provide well-maintained, safe, permanent housing in which women and children grow, heal and thrive. Located in Rexdale, YWCA Bergamot Apartments is a 68-unit affordable apartment building for single women and women with children. We provide well-maintained, safe, rent-geared-to-income, permanent housing in which women and children grow, heal and thrive. YWCA Beatrice House is a free residential program and an early childhood development centre for women and children who are homeless and at-risk of homelessness. Up to 27 families at a time make their home at Beatrice House. During women’s stay they have support and opportunity to set goals and move towards achieving them.

YWCA Toronto's Camp Tapawingo is a summer camp for girls on Georgian Bay near Parry Sound, Ontario. At our camp, girls thrive as they learn new skills, build confidence, make new friends and have fun! YWCA Girls' Centre is a girls-only space. At the Girls' Centre, girls try new activities, develop skills and discuss topics in a safe place. Girls build leadership skills and learn to understand and challenge the world around them. Girls and young women receive support on difficult issues, share ideas, explore interests and plan their futures. And they have a lot of fun! Girls know girls best. The YWCA Girls’ Council is a group of girls and young women who develop, plan and evaluate programs at the YWCA Girls’ Centre. Girls participate in special events, community outreach, advocacy and media initiatives. YWCA JUMP is a free program for girls and young women new to Canada. Girls make friends and learn about living, learning and working in their new community.
