YWCA december 6 fundOn December 8th, close to 200 guests attended the YWCA December 6 Fund dinner in remembrance of the 14 young women killed on December 6th 1989, and all women whose lives have been taken by male violence; and in celebration of the ongoing generosity and perseverance of the community to end violence against women. Special thanks are offered to the many new and long-time supporters of the December 6 Fund, for their generosity to ensure the Fund is available to women when they need it most. Of course, heartfelt thanks are also extended to the many volunteers and staff who worked tirelessly to make this event possible.
