Camp Tapawingo and Tapawingo Outdoor Centre is the three-season centre for the YWCA Camping and Outdoor Education Program. It is home to the YWCA's all girl camp, established in 1930, where a third generation of campers now create their summer memories.

Our Outdoor Centre also offers outdoor education opportunities to women, families and community groups wishing to enjoy affordable training and relaxation in an unbeatable setting.

• 1, 2 and 3 week sessions for a total of 8 weeks to girls 6-15 years old
• 5 day sea kayaking trips for senior campers
• One-to-one counsellor: camper ratio for special needs campers

• 6-week leadership training program for 16 year old young women (C.I.T’s)
• Leadership development for 15 year old campers
• Leadership development for young women who we hire as summer staff
• Subsidies for campers and for CIT’s who can not afford camp
• Day camp offered to Parry Sound residents (12-15 girls) in 3 one week time slots

• Spring Women's Weekend, Fall Women's Weekend and Family Camp – operated by the YWCA in the spring and fall
• Programs developed for outside groups to meet their needs (e.g. schools, Brownies, Girl Guides, families and mother/daughters)
• Ontario Recreational Canoeing Association Provincial Instructor Schools
• Use by rental groups
• Groups can rent facility only, can include meals, or can include programming as well
